WHY THIS BREAKFAST IS DIFFERENT?

This isn’t your typical networking event—it’s a celebration and a conversation with the leaders, athletes, and students shaping the future of women’s sports and leadership, creating a better world for this generation and the next.

  • Our Emcee Carolyn Taylor, creator, star, and producer of Baroness von Sketch Show and I Have Nothing, will be keeping the morning flowing—and keeping us laughing—as we have table discussions, and inspirational panelists sharing their experiences.
  • Leaders in Women’s Pro Sports: Hear from the leaders shaping Canada’s new women’s pro sports leagues in a powerful panel discussion about sports, Canada, and the ways we can keep building momentum.
  • RoundTable discussions — each table will have executives, Olympians/Paralympians, and Student-Athletes seated beside our guests so we can get a well-rounded perspective of the challenges, opportunities, and ways we can get involved.
  • Live Podcast Recording: Our own Jill Moffatt, 2x Olympian and PhD candidate, will dive into resilience, gender equity, and the challenges woman leaders face balancing motherhood with their careers or elite competition on She’s Got Nerve hosted by Martha Piper and Indira Samarasekera, both first woman Presidents of UBC and UofA, respectively and authors of Nerve: Lessons on Leadership from Two Women Who Went First.
  • This Event is Connected to the USport National Championship Final 8. Your Breakfast ticket includes admission to the Women’s Quarterfinal game at 1:00 pm, where you can cheer on Canada’s top women’s varsity basketball teams, VIP-style. Even more special? This is the first time the women’s and men’s championships are being hosted together with equal billing. #progress

We’re limiting the event to 200 attendees to keep it personal and engaging. Among the group will be 25 Olympians and Paralympians, 25 student-athletes, and inspiring women from sports and business—including you!

This isn’t one of those events where fancy people stand on a stage and talk at you. It’s a conversation among the group, with everyone contributing—no matter where they’re seated.

Our Emcee, Carolyn Taylor—creator, star, and producer of Baroness von Sketch Show and I Have Nothing—will keep the morning flowing (and keep us laughing). The event features two inspirational panels and one RoundTable discussion with executives, Olympians/Paralympians, and student-athletes sharing diverse perspectives on challenges, opportunities, and how we can all make an impact.

This is more than an event—it’s a chance to be in the room where it happens. Engage in dynamic conversations, hear stories from inspiring women, and connect with an incredible community in real life. And when else will you be able to have breakfast with such a powerful, fun, and engaged group of women, all focused on making change and taking action?

There’s no dress code—just wear whatever makes you feel comfortable (yes, that includes lulu). It’s a room full of athletes, students, business leaders, and even a professional comedian, so come as you are. Many of us will be rocking our favorite kicks since we’re heading straight to the basketball game after breakfast.
