WHY “SHE’S GOT NEXT”?

Because we saw a gap.

We were tired of seeing the lack of support for women’s sports in Canada: less funding, less coverage, and frankly less respect.

If you’ve ever heard someone yell “I’ve got next!” from the sidelines – an announcement to everyone that they want to be in the game – then you know what I mean.

We want every woman who asks for a shot to have a community making sure she gets it.

We are bridging the gender gap in athletics by bringing together powerhouse women who have been shaped by sports. We’re rallying together to let the next generation know that we are behind them.

SHE’S GOT NEXT is a professional network connecting women who currently play or have played elite-level sports.

There is strength in that community and those shared experiences. Many of the women on the fields and courts today will be on the job market tomorrow, and we want to show them the path.
