What does it look like when someone brings Olympic-level focus, academic horsepower, and real-life grit to their next chapter?

MEET KAS BETINOL

She trained for the Olympics, scored on the world stage, finished a neuroscience degree, earned her Master’s, and is now bringing all of that to her work as a data scientist.

Although this is her first job after grad school, she’s already thriving—which comes as no surprise. Sport gave her nearly two decades of on-the-job training in resilience, leadership under pressure, time management, and adaptability. The kind of experience that helps teams run smoother, solve problems faster, and show up when it matters.

Kas brings all of that—and more.

While playing NCAA hockey at Colgate University, she trained for the 2022 Olympics and scored on Olympic ice for Team China. Then she completed her Master of Business Analytics at The University of British Columbia—all while still competing in U SPORTS.

Swipe through to meet Kas—she joined SHE’S GOT NEXT as a student-athlete earlier this year, and she’s exactly the kind of teammate you want in your corner.

Let’s keep celebrating athletes and helping them find their footing after they step off the ice.
