What started as an 18-month gig turned into three years of working with communities across BC, bringing Olympic excitement to every corner of the province.
By the time the 2010 Games ended, she had seen how sports could unite people—and realized she wanted to be part of it.
She quickly signed on to work on the London Games and that experience set the stage for nearly two decades in global sporting events, working with sponsors at some of the world’s biggest competitions:
🏅 Five Olympic/Paralympic Games with her 6th coming up Milano Cortina 2026
🏉 Vancouver’s first Rugby Sevens tournament
🏃♀️ London Marathon
🤺 FIFA World Cup
Today, as Head of Client Relations at Event Goods Delivered, Amanda brings brands to life on the world’s biggest stages—and she’s just as passionate about helping more women find their place in sports and leadership.
She also brings something else to every room she’s in: presence. A trained performer, Amanda has been on stage since she was nine, performing with the Vancouver Bach Family of Choirs (where she later sat on the board) and now as a member of the Vancouver Cantata Singers
That background shaped how she moves through the world—she knows how to light up a room, bring texture to a conversation, and embrace the unknown. Even when things don’t go as planned, she trusts that at the very least, they’ll make a great story.
Amanda is the kind of leader who makes SHE’S GOT NEXT what it is—a place where women build on their strengths, lean into the unknown, and create opportunities not just for themselves, but for others.
