A Little More Fuel for the Mission

For the second year, a Community Grant from Vancity is helping SHE’S GOT NEXT create more opportunities for women through sport.

We’re still a pretty young organization, which makes it especially meaningful when someone gets behind what we’re building early and then comes back to support it again.

For the second year in a row, SHE’S GOT NEXT has received a Community Grant from Vancity, with $2,000 this year to support our work creating pathways to leadership for women through sport.

The funding will help us continue bringing women together, making more women in sport visible, supporting athletes and programs, and creating opportunities through introductions and access to our growing network.

Since launching SHE’S GOT NEXT, we’ve believed that relatively small investments can have an outsized impact when they’re put behind women. It’s why one-third of every membership fee goes directly back into women’s sport, and why support from organizations like Vancity helps us do more.

Vancity’s Shared Success program reinvests in local organizations working to strengthen their communities, and we’re proud to have SHE’S GOT NEXT among the organizations it supports.
