She holds seventeen national titles and she’ll still tell you character matters more than medals.

Seventeen national track & field titles only begin to tell the story of Geo’s remarkable athletic career.

She represented Canada at the Olympics, World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games.

But her accomplishments in sport are only part of her story.

“Character is more important than medals.”

Today, Geo is a mental health advocate, coach, keynote speaker and wellness leader who has dedicated much of her career to helping others build resilience and navigate difficult moments. Her work has included developing mental health programs for first responders, supporting people as they process experiences they simply can’t unsee.
That commitment to helping others runs through her story — as an athlete, a coach and in the work she does today.

As Geo puts it:

“Every day you have a chance to make an impact. You never know how being yourself and doing the best you can can support someone else on their journey.”

We’re proud to have Geo in the SHE’S GOT NEXT community.
